South Coast Plaza's Men's Lookbook Launch at Berluti

Happy October! South Coast Plaza launched their very first Men's Collection Lookbook, which was celebrated with a cocktail reception at their Berluti store last week. Guests enjoyed champagne, small bites, a whiskey tasting, and the fine craftsmanship behind Berluti's men's leather shoes. A colorist demonstrated the process of applying a patina to the shoes, and a master shoemaker carved a model foot out of wood. I enjoyed seeing the customized process from when the shoemaker takes the foot measurements to craving the foot model with his own hands and tools. There were even a few leather satchels and pieces I wanted to take home with. I'm excited to see more South Coast Plaza's Men's Collection Lookbooks as it is a great way to stay in tune with the season's trends as well as what is in-store at the luxury shopping center.

Back to Fall with the Outlets at Orange

A group of blogger babes and I got to have a private dinner and mingle sesh at the Outlets at Orange's Market Broiler. We enjoyed sushi, other small bites, and wine; OAO even had a cute candy bar and gift bag set up! Afterwards we stopped by Neiman Marcus' Last Call, we unfortunately didn't have time to stop by our other fave stores, BUT I will definitely be back to get some back to fall shopping done! Kiehl's LifeRide 2015

Kimberly and I stopped into Kiehl's South Coast Plaza to celebrate and support the Riders of LifeRide, benefiting amfAR Aids Research. The LifeRiders have traveled by motorcycle more than 18,000 miles the past 6 years to support amfAR's effort to find a cure for AIDS/HIV; and Kiehl's has donated $1,200,00 to amfAR since 2015....wow! The South Coast location had an awesome display featuring the limited edition Ultimate Strength Hand Salve, as well as refreshments from Z'Tejas, Fiji Water and Rebull, and an awesome motorcycle to take pics in front of. LifeRiders Chris Salgardo, Kevin Robert Frost, Kristy Swanson, Jay Ellis, Teddy Sears, Vanessa Marcil, Ben Cohen, Conrad Leach, and Grant Reynolds were in attendance as well as Miss California, Natasha Martinez! Of course, Kimberly and I tested a bunch of products in the store, she has used Kiehl's more frequently than I, and I was quite excited to take home a bag of Kiehl's goodies to try which I can't wait to share with you! Sara Happ and Sugarfina Summer Celebration in Beverly Hills

Sara Happ hosted a Summer Celebration at candy store Sugarfina in Beverly Hills in which guests enjoyed sweets (of course), cocktails by Purity Vodka, and Sara Happ lip scrubs and touch ups by Glam Squad. I enjoyed a watermelon mojito while perusing Sugarfina's shelves and what seemed like endless displays of the most beautiful gourmet sweets. Owners Rosie and Josh travel the world to bring the latest, greatest, and sweetest candies to their shops. Sara Happ is the creator of the cult classic, The Lip Scrub, and her various lip scrubs combined on display among the candy created a very delectable and inviting surrounding (I didn't want to leave, but did get maxed out on sweets).
