Wearing a Black Maxi Dress to an Evening Wedding

I had a wedding reception to attend and hadn't gotten to wear my 16thColony Paragone Dress, so I figured this was the perfect opportunity. Since it had quite the deep v and the reception was more on the conservative side, I decided to take the straps and tie them into a bow in front instead of around the back of my neck. Shop the dress and the rest of the Enigma Collection here, use code 'FFFBOHOBABES' and receive 20% off your entire purchase! I hope everyone has an amazing weekend! I'll be in Palm Springs this weekend, follow my instagram and snapchat @amandat_nguyen for a good time.

Floral Print Maxi Dress for Summer

I'm currently in Sacramento, visiting our state's Capitol! If anyone has any suggestiosn on places to eat or things to do, please tweet me! I wanted to share the second look out of the three summer style outfits I styled from OC Goodwill Boutique finds at their Huntington Beach location. I think floral print screams Spring/Summer fashion and the brighter the colors, the better. I tend to go for a slight abstract print, so I like how this floral print almost looks like watercolor. The blue clutch complemented the blue hues of the dress perfectly, and I threw on a cheery yellow kimono-like wrap just in case it got chilly. Wearing espadrille wedges keeps the hem of the dress from dragging on the ground, and adds some height. Read more about the look here.

Summer Heat Cooldown in a Maxi Dress

With so cal experiencing the weirdest humid weather, this summer maxi dress from Triple Thread OC is the perfect pop of color and keeps me cool in the dense heat. I love the print and the crochet top and tie detail; a printed maxi dress like this can be paired with sandals or wedges for a go-to summer look.

I shot in this dress with Shawna of Bleudog Fotography while down in San Juan Capistrano, and we found the coolest painted horse statue to take pictures with. If you head down to the Mission San Juan Capistrano, you may spot him and another horse friend nearby on the sidewalk. Have an amazing 4th of July weekend everyone! Shop Triple Thread OC here.
