Flynn Sky's Amber Dress in the Desert

While on my Arizona retreat with Renee, I hadn't packed enough so she let me wear this beautiful Flynn Skye dress. I love how airy it is, and the print popped nicely against the desert backdrop. This billowy shaped dress can easily be worn with booties or heels for a dressier look, or with sandals for poolside lounging, casual look. Stevie Sister Matching Floral Halter and Maxi Skirt

While celebrating boutique Modern Romance's 21st Birthday at the Fashion Island Shopping Center in Newport Beach, I not only got to meet the lovely owner Theresa, but she let me take a couple of pieces home from her new line Steve Sister (which has officially launched during the event).

Her line is a mix of flowy and feminine boho styles and retro silhouettes with a luxe vibe. I loved the fit of both the halter and skirt, and that there were details such as the oversized sash that tied the back of the halter together and the double slits on the skirt.
