Urban Mermaid

Here's another look from my Glory Vintage Goods shoot with Holly Daze Photos. I love the purple hues of this dress, and how it almost has a water splashed print to it. The choker accessory and dress' velvet-like details are reminiscent of a 90s formal look (of course with a bit of spice with my big curly hair).

90s Revival

I got together with Glory Vintage Goods and Holly Daze (Photos) to feature a series of amazing vintage and retro styles. I played dress up through the last few decades and with the whole 90s fashion revival (that's still going strong through this season), I wanted to start off the series with this grunge-chic (yes, I know it's an oxymoron) look. Everything you see is from Glory Vintage Goods, and I am all about the bodysuit paired with a high-waisted short. If you want to go super trendy this Fall, tie a plaid or flannel shirt around the waist and add some bad ass boots.

Flynn Sky's Amber Dress in the Desert

While on my Arizona retreat with Renee, I hadn't packed enough so she let me wear this beautiful Flynn Skye dress. I love how airy it is, and the print popped nicely against the desert backdrop. This billowy shaped dress can easily be worn with booties or heels for a dressier look, or with sandals for poolside lounging, casual look. Belt the dress to create more shape, or add a leather jacket for an edgier boho look. Shot by Renee Rogers, and check out our video here.

Forest Enchantment Shoot

While shooting an Ever Pretty dress with Hanger Shortage, we decided to change up my look to a more mysterious vibe which worked quite well in this woodsy area, and shoot another series of photos. I already had dramatic eye and lip make up, but I tied my hair into a half-up pony tail and added a feather bun pin by KITSCH. Thanks for the pics Renee, I love how she was able to capture the moodiness feel, and the beautiful glow in my hair!

Ocean Dance in Pia Gladys Perey

I instantly felt like an princess or some fantastical creature while wearing one of Shawna's floral crowns, although I had asked her to put together a leafier crown, I didn't feel any less enchanting. Especially since we were shooting at the beautiful and majestic Lost Winds Beach in San Clemente, and I was wearing this deep green gown from Pia Gladys Perey. I also shot in two of her other dresses here and here. We got a bit more adventurous with this gown and I went into the water to attempt to capture movement. Pia Gladys Perey has an array of gowns and dresses for a bride or bridal party, I love how this gown in particular is draped and very elegant; it would serve well for a fall or winter bridesmaid's dress.
